Welcome to Reston Youth Association

The mission of RYA is to provide an opportunity for children of Reston and the surrounding areas to participate in an organized youth football and cheerleading programs. We aspire to build a successful youth organization by applying standards and activities that will create an environment of athletic enthusiasm and learning with a focus on achieving high academic standards. RYA’s board strongly believes it is our responsibility to be positive role models by giving back to our youth and continually striving to build a healthy positive community.

**Want to know what the board is up to? Would you like to learn about your voter rights as a member of RYA? Board meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of every month and is open to all members. Email for specifics.

2023 Flag Football Season

Registration for the Spring 2023 Flag Season is open! Register today!

Registration is due to close at Midnight on March 31st

Important Dates:

Saturday, March 18^th – 1^st Assessment (We will have a 2^nd assessment only if needed). We will notify you of the assessment time slots based on divisions the week prior.
Monday, April 10^th – Start of practice. Your assigned coach will notify you of your practice day, time, and location
Saturday, April 15^th – First Game. All games will be played on Saturday’s at Langston Hughes Middle School on the Turf field. Time slots are based on divisions. The schedules will be posted by April 10^th.
Saturday, June 10^th – End of Season (Championship game).

**** We are still in need of Coaches and Referees. If you are interested, please ‘Register Online’ at under the Flag Football Tab***.

Assessments will be held Saturday, March 18th, at Langston Hughes MS. Below are the time slots:

9-11 Age Division: 9am - 10am
6-8 Age Division: 10am -11am
12-13 Age Division: 11am - 12pm
14-16 Age Division: 12pm - 1pm
